PSVR 2 isn't yet set to receive a date after 2023 on mmoexp FIFA 23

For games that are free to play, which includes PS5 FUT 23 Coins and PS4 as a whole, Fortnite was the most-downloaded game in the US and Canada, while Rumbleverse was the most played free-to play game in Europe.

Sony has ambitious plans for the next generation of virtual reality hardware with plans to have 2 million units of its PSVR 2 headset ready by March next year.

The production of the mass-produced virtual reality headset has reportedly begun at the end of September (via Bloomberg) and has never faced any supply chain constraints. With the PS5 continuing to be in high demand because of its low availability since its launch in November of 2020, Sony also plans to increase the number of consoles on shelves in 2023 by the time it hits the market, according to the Bloomberg sources.

PSVR 2 isn't yet set to receive a date after 2023, but Sony is working to ensure that they have enough PS5 consoles to play games on the brand new headset. The hardware is only compatible with PS5 and won't be backwards compatible with PSVR games.

What is known about the hardware is that it has impressive specifications. Like similar to PS5 with its DualSense controller, Sony added haptic feedback, adaptive triggers inside-out tracking, eye-tracking, and 3D audio into the kit that has not yet been given an estimated retail price.

"PSVR 2 feels poised to be an opportunity for it in the game industry," Tamoor Hussain wrote in GameSpot's PSVR 2 preview. "It is yet to see if PSVR 2 will generate a lot of excitement, but at very FUT 23 Coins least I'm more confident that it'll be one step closer towards achieving the full potential of this device."
